A standard itinerary based between Sedgefield and Wilderness in the Garden Route, this tour is ideal for birders with a limited time budget in the Garden Route.
Visiting a bird hide and forest trail, this tour offers a broad spectrum of the birding available in the Garden Route with wetland, waterfowl, pastoral, fynbos, riverine and forest species.

Tour times: From sunrise and finishes at 11h30. Afternoon tours can be arranged as well
Start location : Meet at an agreed location.
Equipment : Binoculars, walking shoes, all weather gear, water, camera.
Cost : Base rate of R1500.00 for the first two guests, R450.00/person for additional guests. These rates exclude conservation fee into nature reserve. |

Bird Photography
With 15 years of guiding in the Garden Route and 7 years of avifaunal studies in the region, we are able to locate the best seasonal locations for spectacular bird photography.
Logistics :
Tour Time : morning tour - from sunrise to 11h30. Afternoon tour - from 14h30. Full day tour also available.
Equipment : Binoculars, walking shoes, all weather gear, water, camera.
Refreshments : We provide tea (Ceylon or Rooibos) or french press coffee with home baked muffins. Lunches are at guests expense.
Cost :
Morning tours : Base rate of R1500.00 for the first two guests, R450.00/person for additional guests.
Full day tour : Base rate of R2250.00 for the first two guests. R450.00/person for additional guests. These rates exclude conservation fee into nature reserve. |
